Why are these spreads as thick as they are?
Our spreads are slightly thicker than most nut butter spreads because we choose to limit the amount of oil in them – this prevents oil from spilling out of the jar when opening, bread or other food items from getting soggy, and allows for an overall healthier spread. If you find The Amazing Chickpea products too hard to spread, we recommend adding a small amount of olive oil and stirring to create a looser spread.
